Remove your shoes. Please remove your shoes upon entrance of a yoga room. This is an ancient custom of the East, and also keeps the floor clean for practice.

Turn off cell phones. Please turn off pagers and cell phones. If at all possible, leave them in your car.

Arrive on time. Make it a part of your yoga practice to arrive early. Arriving to class about 10 minutes early allows you time to settle in.

Practice on an empty stomach. Allow 2-3 hours of digestion after a large meal before practicing.

Inform instructor about special needs. Please inform instructor before class of pregnancy, injuries or any other special needs you may have. This is the only way the instructor will know to give you modifications and appropriate adjustments.

Don’t skip savasana. Final resting pose (savasana) is a very important part of your practice. If you must leave early, please make time for savasana and leave without disrupting others.

Have fun and enjoy! Come to class with an open mind and heart. Have fun, enjoy and smile often!
